It’s going to be hot, hot, hot today. Actually, this whole week is going to be 85 and up! Hello sunbathing. :cool: Today we have an air ‘warning’ because it’s going to be so humid out, especially around noon time, which means for someone like me, with really low blood pressure, don’t go out and exercise in the sun! Be careful out there today, especially if you’re on the East coast, and remember to drink lots of water.
This past weekend was full of yummy eats and I finally got to take home Trixie!
Since yesterdays post was quite long (hehe) I thought I’d split this up into two parts… to save your eyeballs from drying out. Ya kno?
On Friday night, we went out to dinner at the Washington Inn in Cape May.
It is hands down my favorite restaurant down the shore. It’s in the heart of Cape May and the food is outstanding.
I was impressed that they have gluten-free items for those who can’t have gluten.
They didn’t have a vegetarian entree on the menu but they were very accommodating. I was presented with a delicious grilled veggie dish with a balsamic reduction and a pile of creamy polenta.
We also walked around Cape May..
I love it there. It’s the most romantic little town.
We also spent a lot of time sunbathing!

However, the thing I was most excited about this weekend was that I was finally able to take home Trixie!
We headed on over to the bike shop to pick her up.

Excuse my, I just woke up and got out of bed and threw up my hair in a ponytail look. ;)
She was looking lonely so I got a basket for her.
I can’t wait to ride to the store and pick up groceries and put them in my basket. I’m such a granny.
I wanted to take her for a cruise so we went on out to the bike path.
And I got a little photo crazy.. ;)
I’m off to work and then hitting up the elliptical since my legs are still so sore from doing squats + lunges. Hopefully tomorrow I can do another set and get my booty in tip-top shape!
